“Like a mini MBA for Food Bankers - I recently participated in the LevelUP! leadership development program and I have to say, it was truly transformative. The program provided a unique approach to professional development that helped me identify my strengths and growth edges. The facilitators are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, creating a safe and welcoming environment for learning and growth.

One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to work one-on-one with a leadership coach. My coach helped me clarify my goals, develop action plans, and hold myself accountable for makingprogress. I found this to be incredibly valuable, as it allowed me to focus on specific areas of development and track my progress over time.

Overall, I could not recommend the LevelUP! program more highly to anyone looking to take their leadership skills up a notch. It has had a lasting positive impact on how I approach my work, and I am confident it will do the same for others..”

“LevelUp! was an incredible introduction to leading in food banking at the highest levels and in a human way. The program’s focus on a limited number of key ideas helped to clearly convey the most important information and the volatility that the course instructors intentionally intertwined throughout the program made it uniquely relatable to the ever-changing food banking environment.”

Level Up! was a game changer for me. It was challenging, insightful, forced me to be vulnerable and look at my work, my staff, and my mental thinking in an entirely new way. My biggest takeaways from Level Up! were:

1.     You’re not alone—there are so many other great leaders in the network that can be utilized to help you through whatever dilemma you may be faced with.

2.     Take a deep breath and slow down—many times when I was feeling like I did not know what the best decision was, I took a second for myself or allowed my team a chance to step up and provide their ideas. In result, more progress has been made, better and faster work is being outputted, and even more collaboration has been happening that ever before.

This program is based on the amount of effort you are willing to put into it. If you do the readings and thoughtfully practice integrating what you are learning, I promise you that it will open your eyes to a more systematic way of thinking and therefore, improve on your leadership skills. I highly recommend those who see the path that they want to be on, but are feeling hesitant about how to get there, apply for this program and invest in yourself.
